Binance Stocks sells you real US-listed shares: you own the share as its beneficial owner. You fund with stablecoins or crypto; over 7,000 US stocks and ETFs trade commission-free for eligible users outside the United States.
Your position is recorded as a sub-account within Nest Trading's omnibus account at Alpaca Securities, the US broker that executes your trades and holds your shares. Where a matching bStock exists, you can convert the share 1:1 into an on-chain token.
⚠ Introducing broker is a Binance affiliate. You trade through Nest Trading Limited, which is part of the Binance group. The affiliate relationship sits at the order-routing layer.
✓ Execution and custody are independent. Alpaca executes, clears, and custodies your shares. It is independent of the Binance group.
Binance's own documents disagree on whether SIPC reaches you. Alpaca is a SIPC member. If Alpaca fails and customer assets are missing, SIPC covers securities and cash in member customer accounts up to $500,000, including a $250,000 cash limit. Your position sits in an omnibus account in Nest Trading's name, so Nest Trading is Alpaca's customer of record.

The product also uses payment for order flow: when client orders are routed to market makers, the broker receives compensation from those market makers, and Binance takes a share. This is legal, disclosed, and standard across US retail brokers; the broker's best-execution duty bounds the harm, and some brokers decline it.
